Birthday Cake Wearing a Party Hat Coloring Page

About this coloring picture

This coloring page shows a smiling two-tier birthday cake wearing a large cone-shaped party hat on top. The upper tier has a friendly face with big round eyes, curved eyebrows, a wide open smile and small heart shapes on each side. The hat is covered with circles of different sizes and has a scalloped pom-pom at the tip. Three tall candles with twisted stripes and teardrop flames stand on the top layer beside the hat.

The lower tier is wider and has a wavy, scalloped icing edge along the top and bottom. Its side is decorated with hearts, five-point stars and small circles. A row of little oval dots runs around the flat top of the lower layer. The whole cake rests on a round plate drawn with a double rim, and the lines are bold and smooth, which makes the shapes easy to follow.

Around the cake, the white background is filled with party details. Small stars and curved confetti pieces float in the air, and three little balloons with wavy strings appear on the left and right sides. These small shapes leave plenty of room for bright colors without crowding the cake itself.

Coloring ideas are entirely up to you. The party hat could be purple with yellow dots, and the icing might be pink, white or light blue. The candle stripes look cheerful in red and white, and the flames in yellow and orange. Try different colors for the hearts and stars on the lower tier, or use a rainbow of shades for the balloons and confetti. Crayons cover the large cake sides quickly, while colored pencils and fine markers suit the small dots, stars and hearts.

You can print the sheet directly from the page, download it as a PDF for printing at home or school, or use the Color Online option to color the PNG artwork on a screen. Letter or A4 paper works well, and thicker paper helps if you plan to use markers.
