Princess Riding a Bicycle with Puppy Coloring Page

About this coloring picture

This printable sheet features a smiling young princess riding a bicycle with a small puppy sitting inside her woven front basket. The princess wears a heart tiara atop her long wavy hair, a puffed-sleeve dress decorated with a heart emblem, and shoes resting on the bicycle pedals. The fluffy puppy peeks over the rim of the basket, giving children two different characters to color in one picture.

For the princess, try soft pink, purple, or pale blue on the dress, with a contrasting shade for the heart decoration. Her hair could be blonde, chestnut brown, or black. A teal bicycle frame would stand out beside a warm brown basket, while the puppy could have golden, brown, white, or spotted fur. These are just starting ideas; children can choose any colors they like for their own version of the scene.

Colored pencils can help with the smaller details around the tiara, hair, and basket. Crayons work well for the larger areas of the dress and bicycle wheels. Encourage children to take their time around the spokes and curved outlines rather than rushing to fill every space. You could also invite them to imagine where the princess and puppy are going and tell a short story about their bicycle ride.
